Angels of the OR Breakfast {Baltimore Event Photography}

Have you ever heard of Dr. Ben Carson? If not, look him up. He is a world renowned neurosurgeon at Johns Hopkins and has an incredible story. Dr. Carson and Dr. Cliff Solomon (another Neurosurgeon) came together to start an organization called Angels of the OR (http://www.angelsoftheor.org). It is a fun story of how we got involved with the organization- so if you are curious, just ask! :) It is a fairly new organization and this was their first official event. (They actually asked me to design the invitation! How fun!... see below). This event was a breakfast with the co-founders, and a former patient as guest speakers.

Dr. Carson and Dr. Solomon are both incredible and set an amazing example of how to be "angels" and inspirations to soooo many. Honestly, they throw off this energy that you cannot help but to be inspired when in the same room.

Ryan and I had the opportunity to serve as the volunteer photographers for this special event! We loved it and hope to join the organization for more events in the future. Thank you to Sue and Lynn for this opportunity. And thanks as well to Dr. Carson and Dr. Solomon for making a difference everyday of you lives!

Hope you enjoy the photos... and don't forget to check out Angels of the OR, and the doctors themselves. They have great stories!

Invitation by me. :)

Dr. Solomon and Dr. Carson

Dr. Solomon is not only a neurosurgeon, but he is also a magician! He showed us a few tricks!

This gentleman was so cute. He took off a cross that he was wearing around his neck and asked Dr. Carson to have it. What a thoughtful gesture.

Family Photos with new lens {MD/PA Child Portrait Photographer}

So we just got a great new lens for our camera that takes some awesome photos. For those photogs out there the lens is a Canon EF 70-200mm F/2.8L USM IS Lens. On our trip back home for Easter we tried it out on two of our cousins. We couldn't ask for better models. Pictures are below for you to enjoy!
